Ahhh good point. I forgot about that whole free heath care stuffs. Here there's a 50/50 chance the chick doesn't have insurance, and even if she does most insurance doesn't cover it.

Moko I can completely sympathize with you, I went through the exact same thing just a few weeks ago. And it so happened that antibiotics were the culprit. So trust me I feel your pain 100%.

Fortunately I am childless, but it wasn't an easy decision for either of us and our relationship was ruined in the process.

Yeah man, its a scary time. Sorry to hear about your situation and that it didn't work out in the end. On the bright side, there are a ton more women out there and now you don't have to spend the next 18 years of your life paying child support.

Oh and Seri, Abortions are free in Canada as long as you have your provincial health card, I already checked into it. However even if it wasn't free I'd spend whatever it took to get it done, seeing as it would only be a drop in the bucket from what I'd have to pay in the long run.

I met up with her tonight for ice cream and to talk and stuff and she still seems that she's going to go for it, it really reassured me and kinda relieved a little bit of stress. I'm still not out of the woods yet though, Tuesday is her appointment to get some tests done and get the actual date set for it. I'll definitely go with her on the day to make sure she doesn't get yellow feet, and to reassure her everything will be ok, etc.

Fuck, this has taken years off my life.

Yeah, you'll stress all the way up to the procedure. Just because that uncertainty is always at the back of your mind, you just never know for sure until it's over.

I kind of figured it wouldn't work out in the end with this girl anyway. To be honest if I thought it could work I might have suggested we keep the kid. I'm in a bit of a different stage in my life, so starting a family is definitely not off the table for me. But being raised by a single mom I know how much it sucks and I dont want that for my kids. I don't want to pay child support, if I have a child I want to be there and raise it as a family (I know thats a tall order these days, statistically speaking, but hey we all have goals right).
